Fortino is something special.
He came to the shelter as a stray, malnourished and need of TLC.
He received just that from the fantastic volunteers and soon he began to gain weight and show off his loving personality.
Fortino became a volunteer favorite, but unfortunately, he tested positive for heartworm disease and began the wait for a rescue to save his life.
We were fortunate to be able to do that for him, he has started his treatment and now we want to find him the perfect family to call him forever theirs.
Fortino is currently in vet hospital boarding and would love an opportunity to join a foster family.
Fortino is gentle natured, knows basic commands, listens well and leans in for pets.
His new family will be the lucky ones in nabbing him for their very own.
