Please consider a donation to help us continue our mission into the new year.
The rescue world has changed, and the cost of vetting is making it even more challenging to take on the toughest medical and neglect cases. We estimate to spend no less than $2,500 on each medical dog that comes into our care. Not Including general vetting and treatments for existing ailments. We need to assure their health so that they can be properly paired up with the perfect adopter. Knowing that each dog keeps us in the red is frightening, at anytime we can be forced to shutter the rescue, but it is the risk we take. In my heart, I pray that through donations no matter the amount we can find a way to continue into 2025.
K9 Enrichment Initiative treated 8 dogs for Heartworm Disease, 2 dogs with fractures due to being hit by vehicles, 1 dog born with front limb deformity, 2 seniors who in need of dental and blood & chemistry labs and a host of others. Our puppies are covered with 4 Distemper/Parvo vaccines, Bordetella, Rabies, Microchip and Spay/Neuter before being adopted, covering all the basics for the adopting family. We had a litter of puppies who were birthed at an ER hospital and one that needed emergency life saving care. The medications, food, treats, supplements needed by dogs to achieve their health and find their perfect family.
Thank you for your consideration in keeping our mission alive.
