Our small animal rescue organization seeks your monthly, yearly support as our medical bills continue to rise heavily. And we are NOT a rescue that shirks from medical cases or dogs in need of intense support. In fact, that is the road we often travel in rescue. We take the lives that seem to be passed up and ready to be forgotten.

This is where K9 Enrichment Initiative (KEI) steps in. Since December 2016, we have saved 87 dogs from either death row or a dire medical situation in a shelter or community across the state of Illinois. Almost ¾ of these lives came with medical or behavioral cases that needed to be tended to prior to rehoming. We are hoping beyond hope for help, to continue into 2018 where we left off in 2017 so we can continue to positively impact the lives of those we take in and then adopt out once healthy as well as emotionally whole.

This rescue is a beacon of hope for those less than perfect lives waiting for a helping hand and we are a voice for the voiceless to those shrinking inward inside their kennels within the many high-kill shelters begging for a second chance at life. To save the ones passed over because they aren’t “adoption ready”. Your sponsorship funding will enable us to continue this work, to complete families with a dog who deserves a second chance at happily ever after. Descriptions for business and individual sponsorship categories are shown below. Please contact the rescue at info@k9ei.dog to arrange your sponsorship.
