Keep your pets healthy and up to date with their vaccines!

K9 Enrichment Initiative is proud to once again be conducting vaccine clinics in Joliet for community members. With the grant of DAPPv vaccines from Petco Love and the volunteer team we are able to provide the lowest cost for vaccines.
Our professional Vet technicians provide top notch fear free care for your pets, while our Veterinarian does a body check and administers the Rabies vaccine. Our volunteers are experienced in helping you through the entire process seamlessly as we offer a unique twist on “vaccine clinics”.
The March wellness clinic for pets will be hosted on Sunday, March 29th at the Salvation Army Community Center in Joliet, IL. This event aims to provide essential vaccinations and support for pet owners while fostering community well-being.
Vaccination Services
The clinic offers the following vaccinations at a suggested donation:
- Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Microchips: $15
- Rabies Vaccination:
- 1-Year: $15
- 3-Year: $25
Please note that pet owners are responsible for purchasing the rabies tag through their local animal control office.
Food Assistance
For those experiencing hardship, food assistance will be available through the clinic. Pet owners do not need to obtain vaccinations to receive help. If you require food for your dog, please reach out via email at info@k9ei.dog, providing your information along with your dog’s size and breed. Once approved, you can pick up a bag of food at the hospitality table on the day of the event.
Additional Services
- Nail Trims: Complimentary nail trims will be offered upon request, just ask your vet tech when your dog is having their vaccines administered.
Important Reminders
- Leash Requirements: Dogs must be on a lead—preferably a standard leash, not a retractable one. All cats should be kept in carriers for service.
- Reactivity Guidelines:
- If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you may leave them in your vehicle. After registering, we can safely assist you outside.
- Dogs reactive to humans should not attend the clinic; you should consult a veterinarian at their office.
- Health Guidelines: Only healthy dogs able to receive vaccinations should attend this wellness clinic. Please refrain from bringing dogs that are ill.
This wellness clinic is a wonderful opportunity to ensure your pet is up-to-date on their vaccinations while also accessing necessary resources in our community. Ensure to register and mark your calendars for March 29th, and we look forward to seeing you and your pets there!
