K9 Enrichment Initiative, Inc. is committed to helping the community through our programs of outreach.

We believe it’s important for those who work in animal welfare share their skills, knowledge and talents to help community members care for their pets.

We do this through our K9 Enrichment Initiative Wellness Clinics, which provide free and low cost vaccinations and microchips monthly at Pop Up clinics at various sites in Will County without residency restrictions. Our first clinic was held in October of 2022.

We also host free food and supplies at our hospitality desk at the clinics to assist individuals and families. Prevention is key with the overpopulation of dogs & cats. If we can keep pets with their family’s by providing a bag of dog food or other supplies, then that’s one less pet at a shelter looking for rescue.
