Meet Jessie!
Jessie was trapped as a stray in a railway yard with a male dog. The jury is still out as to if they were from the same litter.
Jessie is proving she prefers to be an only dog or at least that she does in certain situations, like training class, and at the pet supplies store where she is required to be on lead.
Jessie is continuing her training with private lessons in her foster home. Jessie is very smart and enjoys learning.

Jessie currently lives with a 10-year-old human foster sister and stays in the kitchen area. She does really well at this despite being a high energy dog. She uses her crate for quiet alone time and will hang out inside her crate when she fancy’s to do so or lay on her bed outside the crate playing with her toys.
Jessie’s foster home has a huge fenced yard where she shows off her athletic skills and runs as if she is chasing Secretariat down the stretch. She is beauty in motion.

Jessie desperately needs a foster or forever home who will dedicate themselves to helping her overcome her fears. Jessie loves to explore the world if she feels confident with her human by her side. Jessie wasn’t treated nicely in the first half of her life, the cut across her throat is evidence and she needs someone who get’s her and loves her flaws and all.
