Livia (CACC)-Adopted

Hi, my name is Livia. The English meaning of my name translates to Life. My rescue felt it was appropriate as I came to them while battling Canine Parvovirus, a highly contagious and deadly virus. I beat the parvo and went to live with my foster family after 2 months in the hospital.

I live with a great family. I have a 5-year-old human foster sister, along with 3 canine siblings. I have been working with my foster parents on perfecting my basic commands. I celebrated my first birthday on February 8th, 2019.

My favorite treat is freeze-dried turkey.

My favorite toy is my squeaky squirrel.

My favorite time of day is “cuddle time” with my foster Mom.

My favorite playtime activities are tugging on a rope and playing in the yard.

My nickname is Livi and my foster Mom tells me I look really cute when I sleep on the couch. I am really good at learning new commands. I’m a pro at “down”.

My foster Dad will tell you my toughest challenge so far has been controlling myself when excited. I can be a little jumpy. I am sometimes afraid of unfamiliar/new places and take some coaxing.

I would love to meet a forever family who wants me to be part of the gang and hang out doing things together. A fenced yard for me to run around and play safely would be a bonus. I will need to attend training with my family to build our bond and learn to understand each other.
